I have started what I’m calling ‘active afternoons‘ where I do rounds of basic exercises like mountain climbers, push ups, tricep dips, leg lowers etc. and I am loving it!

It only takes me 5-10mins every afternoon when I get home from work and it’s total entertainment for my baby boy Zac see video here>> who thinks it’s hilarious!!

Here are a few workouts for you to try….

Oh, and just a reminder, make sure you warm up first by marching/jogging on the spot for a few mins.

WORKOUT 1
Warm up
20 mountain climbers or burpees
20 triceps dips
20 leg lowers (lying on back, bend knees at 90 degrees and lower each leg in turn)
30 second plank
20 star jumps
Stretch after you have finished

If you are just starting out repeat 1-2 times, for more advance or fitter people repeat 3-5 times.

WORKOUT 2
Warm up
20 lunges
30 bicep curls with weights or cans/water bottles
20 squats
20 press ups (girly ones are fine)
30 ab crunches
Jog on spot for 1 min
Stretch after you have finished

If you are just starting out repeat 1-2 times, for more advance or fitter people repeat 3-5 times
